ANSWERS TO TOUGH QUESTIONS…
You’re
a current Trustee, why are you running for Village President?
“The Village
is at a critical point in its development and the decisions, that are
being made now, are going to affect all residents forever. I bring to
the position of Village President an atmosphere of participation,
where the Village Board, the various committees, plan commission,
village staff, as well as, residents can provide input to make our
village the best place it can be. Growth and Transportation issues are
both challenges and opportunities that are high on the list of
priorities. The energy and dedication I have given as a trustee, will
continue in the leadership role of President of the Village as I am
committed to doing the right thing, at the right time and for the
right reason. I bring to the table seven years of commitment to the
community and look forward to expanding the spirit of cooperation,
where teamwork can increase as we grow.”
Is
the current contractor for the water / wastewater operations going to
being replaced? Is this going to affect my water?
“There are some issues with the current
contractor and I believe that they will be satisfactorily resolved in
the near future. The quality of the water being delivered is of prime
concern. This has never been an issue and given that the right
decisions are made at the right time, water quality will not be an
issue in the future.”
